Alabama police say a 72-year-old man stabbed to death a 25-year-old early Monday morning.

Police aren’t saying exactly what lead to the stabbing, but police said the 72-year-old man, who was not identified, is cooperating with police and has not been charged with a crime.

Police were called to the 500 block of Main Street in Sylacauga at approximately midnight after a reported stabbing.

Officers found Fredrick Norris, 25, bleeding on the porch of the residence.

First aid was begun and an ambulance took Norris to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
