An Alabama man who once worked for a county board of education was arrested Wednesday and charged with rape and child pornography charges.

Lincoln police say they arrested an 18-year-old who they say was a former employee of the Talladega County Board of Education.

Talladega County Jail records indicate the suspect is Joseph Roy Austin Williams, 18, of Talladega.

Williams was being held Wednesday night on a total of $30,000 bond.

He was charged with possession of child pornography, rape 2nd degree and transmitting obscene material to a child by computer.
