Alabama mayor has social media swooning with release of engagement photos, accompanying captions

One Alabama mayor showed he has a way with words and a way to make social media buzz with excitement when it comes to his upcoming wedding plans.

Birmingham Mayor Randall Woodfin had social media readers swooning with the release of recent engagement photos and their accompanying captions.

‘I’m tired of the fast lane – I want you to have my last name,’ Woodfin wrote with an accompanying photo of him and his fiance Kendra Morris at the Barber Motorsports Museum.

Woodfin posted the photos on his Facebook page. Each photo featured the couple amid a brilliant floral display, vintage cars and Morris wearing a matching floral dress.

With each photo, Woodfin also included captions that left readers flush with excitement.

“I just want you to know your whole being is beautiful,” Woodfin wrote next to a photo of the couplein an intimate moment.

“I’m going to do the best I can do – Cause I’m the best when I’m with you,” another caption said next to a photo of the couple framed by columns and flowers.

The captions were getting as much as attention as the photos, which have been shared more than 200 times on Facebook.

“It’s the quotes after each picture for me!!🤣❤️ Babbyyy chivalry is not dead. Our Mayor is smooth with it. ❤️💪🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 Love it!!” one reader wrote.

Woodfin announced his engagement on March 20. The couple have been dating since 2021.
