An Alabama pilot decided to have fun and show his support for the Crimson Tide football team by letting his flight path reveal where his allegiances lie.
The Tuscaloosa Airport Group posted the flight path of the local pilot on their social media page.
The green lines form the classic “A” insignia of the Alabama football team and had many people on social media questioning whether the flight path was real or photoshopped in a computer.
“Local pilot having fun this afternoon. Yes, this is his actual flight path. Recorded on FlightAware, not photoshopped,” the post said.
FlightAware data indeed shows that the pilot on the plane with the tail number N7132V took off from the Tuscaloosa airport at 12:40 p.m. Friday and landed at 2:57 p.m. at the Tuscaloosa airport after creating the “A” logo in his flight path between Tuscaloosa and Jasper.
