An Alabama motorcyclist was killed in an interstate accident that involved multiple vehicles.

The accident occurred shortly before 8 p.m. Thursday on Interstate 459 at Morgan Road in Bessemer.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office has identified the motorcyclist at Harley William Dale Cantrell, 28, of Canton. Cantrell was pronounced dead at the scene.

Other details about the accident have not been released.

Bessemer police are investigating the accident.
