Although it’s still a hot, humid forecast for Labor Day, most of us will also stay dry and sunny. The only rain chances are for northern Alabama and southern Alabama, and the chances are small for isolated showers and storms.
Besides our weather drying up here, the tropics are also calming down. Right now, we only have two named storms to watch! We may have an interesting setup to watch in a couple days but it’s pretty calm right now, just in time for the holiday.
North Alabama
Mostly sunny with a slight chance of a shower or storm after 10 a.m. High near 88. Mostly cloudy Monday night with a low of 71.
Central Alabama
Mostly sunny with a high of 90. Becoming mostly cloudy overnight with a low of 68.
South Alabama
Mostly sunny with a high of 93. Cloudy Monday night with a low of 69.
Gulf Coast
Partly sunny with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm. High of 90. Mostly cloudy in the evening, then becoming clear. Low of 71.
