Alabama police are investigating a shooting that killed a teen and wounded another teen and a 6-year-old child.

The Selma Police said the shooting occurred at approximately 2 p.m. Saturday.

Police officers were dispatched to the area of Elkdale Street and Fifth Avenue in Selma regarding multiple gunshot victims.

Officers found a 19-year-old male unresponsive and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The teen was transported to Vaughan Regional Medical Center in Selma were he was later pronounced dead.

Investigators said a 16-year-old male and a 6-year-old male were also taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds.

Both of the victim’s injuries were none life-threatening, police said.
