Alabama authorities identify body found floating in Mobile Bay

The body of a man found floating in Mobile Bay has been identified.

Dustin Williams reportedly went swimming Sunday evening from a public access point on Hammock Road. His vehicle and clothes were reportedly found there.

According to police, A passing boater saw Williams swimming in the area and told the boater that he was fine and not in any trouble.

The next day, a passenger on a barge reported seeing something floating in the river. Mobile Police later found the body floating near the Dog River Bridge.

DNA analysis helped confirm the identity of the body as that of Williams.

Foul play is not suspected in Williams death.
