Reward offered for after autopsy reveals man found in burned vehicle near Alabama interstate died of gunshot wound

The Montgomery Police Department is investigating an August 17, 2023, murder and seeks the public’s help in identifying the suspect.
On Thursday, August 17, 2023, at about 12:05 a.m., police and first responders responded to a vehicle fire in the area of I-85 South and Taylor Road. Investigators say, Joesph Turner, 38, was found in the vehicle. Turner was pronounced deceased on the scene.
Investigators say Turner was transported to the Alabama Department of Forensic Science for an autopsy. The autopsy revealed that Turner sustained a fatal gunshot wound prior to the vehicle fire.
Montgomery Police Investigators ask anyone who may have seen something or know something to please come forward.
