Has it gotten so hot that even ice trucks are melting in Alabama?
Not quite, but close for parts of an Ice Pant Truck that burned up Saturday morning.
Officials from the McIntosh Volunteer Fire Department posted images of a fire they responded to shortly after 9 a.m. Saturday. The fire department was assisting the Fairford Volunteer Fire Department.
The post included images of the ice truck’s cab that had burned away in a blaze at a scrap yard on Hooks Lake Road.
The post did not indicate the cause of the fire, although many of the comments on the post joked about the possible effects of the extreme heat in the area.
