At least two people were killed and others were injured, some trapped Tuesday night after a wreck between two vehicles and a street sweeper on Interstate 459, first responders reported.

The accident happened just after 8 p.m. Tuesday on Interstate 459 South, state troopers reported.

Part of the interstate was closed overnight and into Wednesday morning, but was reopened before sunrise.

Exactly what happened in the wreck was not immediately released but the Rocky Ridge Fire Department reported Tuesday night on social media that they were working the wreck that involved “people trapped requiring multiple extrications along with fatalities.”
