Alabama man killed when Ford Mustang leaves road, strikes embankment, then tree

An Alabama was killed early Sunday when his Ford Mustang left the road, struck an embankment, then a tree, state troopers reported.

The single-vehicle crash occurred at approximately 2 a.m. Sunday, and claimed the life of a Montgomery, Alabam, man.

Frantuain M. Williams, 33, was fatally injured when the 2017 Ford Mustang that he was driving left the roadway, struck an embankment and a tree before overturning.

Williams was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The crash occurred on Alabama 14 near the 140 mile marker, approximately 2 miles west of Autaugaville, in Autauga County.
