An Alabama man was killed Tuesday after a multiple-car accident on Interstate 65, Alabama state troopers said.

Donald E. Stowe, 72, of Auburn, was driving a 2021 Toyota Camry Tuesday afternoon on Interstate 65 when his car struck a 2017 Dodge Caravan near Evergreen.

Stowe’s Camry then struck a 2022 Hyundai Sonata, when then struck a cable barrier.

The Hyundai then struck a tractor-trailer that troopers say left the scene.

Stow was pronounced dead at the scene.
