An Alabama man was killed Tuesday afternoon when his motorcycle collided, head-on with a pickup truck, state troopers said.

The two-vehicle crash occurred at approximately 3:35 p.m. Tuesday, and claimed the life of a Quinton man.

Garland A. Bonner, 63, was fatally injured when the 2004 Honda Goldwing motorcycle that he was operating collided head-on with the 2000 Nissan Frontier driven by Clint H. Snow, 31, of Cordova.

Bonner was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The crash occurred on Tutwiler Road, approximately eight miles south of Parrish, in Walker County.
