No matter the type of summertime weather one likes, they could find it in Alabama Tuesday. If one wants sunshine and heat, northern and central Alabama will be sunny and beautiful after some fog burns off in the morning. If one likes rain and storms, the Gulf Coast is the place to be Tuesday afternoon.

We’re not expecting any organized severe weather, although a storm or two could be on the strong side along the Gulf.

We’re watching a system in the Atlantic for possible development later in the week. Even if it does form, it doesn’t pose any threat to the Gulf Coast.

North Alabama

Fog early, then sunny with a high near 89. Clear Tuesday night with a low of 67.

Central Alabama

Sunny with a high near 90. Partly cloudy overnight with a low of 70.

South Alabama

Sunny with a high near 90. Partly cloudy overnight with a low of 71.

Gulf Coast

Partly sunny with scattered showers and storms in the late morning and into the afternoon. High near 90. A couple isolated showers and storms in the evening. Becoming partly cloudy overnight with a low of 74.
