State and federal authorities searched into the night Thursday for an “armed and dangerous” man wanted by police.

The U.S. Marshal’s Service and the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency sought the public’s help in locating a man identified as Jerico D. Parker, 40, of Jones, Alabama.

Authorities said Parker was seen near 200 Dallas County 264 on Thursday. Marshals have offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to Parker’s arrest.

Exactly what charged they sought Parker on were unclear.

State media outlets reported he has a long history of criminal arrests. The mother of Parker’s child allegedly files a protective order against him last week after saying he threatened to kill her family and forcibly take their son.
