A Tennessee man was arrested last week after police said he picked up a 13-year-old girl in Alabama and brought her to his house to have sex.

Alexander Xo Sub, 22, of Nashville, was charged with two counts of statutory rape and one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Investigators said he traveled to Hoover, Alabama, to pick up the girl, with whom he’s allegedly had a prior relationship with and brought her back to his home to have sex.

Sub reportedly told officers he believed the girl was 16 or 17 years old, not 13.
