Much of the state has been placed under a Level 2 risk for severe weather Sunday with multiple rounds expected from Sunday morning through Sunday evening.
The Level 2 includes northern and central Alabama and much of the southwestern corner. In this risk zone, severe storms are possible, along with hail, damaging winds, and torrential rainfall. The tornado risk is low, but not zero.
A Level 1 includes Bay Minette, Andalusia, Montgomery, and Troy. The risks in this area are the same as Level 2, but not as widespread or likely.
