Head-on collision kills two Alabama residents, state troopers report

Two Alabama people were killed early Monday when their vehicles collided with each other, head-on, state troopers said.

The two-vehicle accident occurred at approximately 4:25 a.m. Monday on U.S. 84 near the 81-mile marked in Conecuh County, state troopers reported.

Taleik N. Benjamin, 22, of Evergreen, Alabama, and Phillip D. Hall, 65, of Brewton, Alabame, were killed in the accident.

The accident occurred when a Benjamin’s 2016 Kia Sportage hit head-on with Hall’s 2016 Dodge Dart.

Both men were pronounced dead at the scene, troopers said. Benjamin was not wearing a seat belt troopers reported.
