The pedestrian killed Tuesday after being struck by an Alabama police officer has been identified.

Police said the 74-year-old victim was Adolf Parker.

Parker was killed by a Mobile police officer who was driving on Interstate 10 during foggy conditions.

Police said Parker walked into the roadway in the wee hours of Tuesday morning.
