Alabama woman killed in head-on collision, state troopers report

An Alabama woman died Sunday after her car collided head-on with a large pick-up truck, state troopers report.

The two-vehicle crash occurred at approximately 6:32 p.m. Sunday, and claimed the life of a Huntsville woman.

Kimberly L. Holloway, 48, was critically injured when the 1998 Lincoln Continental that she was driving collided head-on with the 2022 Ford F-250 driven by Kenneth M. Parker, 55, of Toney, Alabama.

Holloway was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was transported to Huntsville Hospital, where she later succumbed to injuries and was pronounced deceased.

Kenneth Parker and Mary Parker, 58, also of Toney, who was a passenger in the Ford F-250, were both injured and transported to Athens Hospital.

The crash occurred on Alabama 251 near the 15-mile marker, approximately 1 mile south of Ardmore, in Limestone County.
