An Alabama teen was killed Monday night when his truck left the road and struck a tree, state troopers report.

The single-vehicle crash occurred at approximately 10:55 p.m. Monday, and claimed the life of a Trinity, Alabama, teen.

The 17-year-old was fatally injured when the 2013 Ford F-150 that the teen was driving left the roadway and struck a tree.

The teen was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The crash occurred on East Upper River Road near Muscle Camp Road, approximately one-quarter mile east of Priceville, in Morgan County.
