Alabama Skies: What are the chances of a washout today?

Our return to a summer-like weather pattern returns today, but it’s a little different than usual. Although we have some decent chances of rain and thunderstorms across the state, most of the rainfall will be this morning, leaving behind a nice afternoon for many of us. A cold front is moving through, so we’ll have another great weather day tomorrow.

Our humidity levels and temperatures will begin to rise again as we settle back into the daily chances of rain and storms.

North Alabama

Partly sunny with rain and storms possible in the morning. High of 77. Mostly clear tonight with a low of 55.

Central Alabama

Partly sunny with a decent chance of a shower or thunderstorms before early afternoon. High of 77. Mostly clear tonight with a low of 55.

South Alabama

Mostly cloudy with showers and storms likely this morning and ending by early afternoon. High of 72. Mostly cloudy tonight with a slight chance of a shower or storm. Low of 59.

Gulf Coast

Partly sunny with showers and storms likely in the morning and clearing by afternoon. High near 84. Mostly cloudy tonight with a shower or two possible. Low of 62.
