An Alabama man was arrested last week after deputies said he was found in possession of nude images of young children he secretly recorded in his bathroom.

Marshall County Sheriff’s Office investigators said the case began in October 2022 when they were investigating a case of two male juveniles who allegedly were sexually assaulted at a residence in Albertville.

During the investigation, deputies said they discovered the homeowner Kenneth Hand had hidden cameras inside the house including in a bathroom and bedroom frequently used by a child.

Investigators seized several digital storage devices and, earlier this month, received a report from a digital forensics team which indicated they had found images of nude children under the age of 10 on the devices that had been downloaded from the Internet.

In addition, investigators said, they found videos showing a child wearing undergarments in the bedroom of the home.

An arrest warrant was issued and Hand was charged with 11 counts of possession of child pornography and two counts of first-degree voyeurism.

Investigators said more digital data seized at Hand’s residence is still being processed.
