Police arrested an Alabama woman after she allegedly ran into a man and two puppies intentionally with her vehicle, a Florida TV station reported.

Kaitline Johnson Stoodley, 33, of Brewton, Alabama, was charged with aggravated assault with a deadline weapon, battery and two counts of animal cruelty in the incident, WEAR-TV in Pensacola reported.

The arrest stemmed from an incident on April 25 when Stoodley reportedly began arguing with a man in Milton, Florida.

The man reportedly was walking in front of her vehicle escorting her off his property when she sped up and struck the victim and hit two of three puppies who was walking with the man.

One of the puppies was killed and the second received a broken leg.
