Alabama Skies: Another chance of severe weather this weekend

While some of us will see some sunshine today, others will remain cloudy with a few isolated showers. It’s going to be warm and breezy with moderate to high humidity levels.

It’s also looking like some of may see some severe storms Saturday. Right now, the region right around and south of Montgomery is under a Level 1 risk. Right now, the main risks include severe thunderstorms, damaging winds, and a tornado or two.

If you’re heading to the coast this weekend, use extreme caution. Forecasts are calling for high risks of rip currents.

North Alabama

A slight chance of a few remaining showers this morning, then partly sunny with a high of 74. Mostly clear tonight with a low of 54.

Central Alabama

Mostly cloudy with a few isolated showers. High of 77. Partly cloudy tonight with a low of 53.

South Alabama

Partly sunny with an isolated shower possible early. High of 81. Mostly clear tonight with a low of 57.

Gulf Coast

Mostly cloudy early, then becoming sunny with a high of 83. Mostly clear tonight with a low of 61.
