Alabama Skies: Storms heading our way

It looks like most of today will be dry, but it won’t be as sunny and clear as the past few days. It will be warmer, more humid, and quite windy across the state. Some places could have wind gusts up to 25 to 30 miles per hour.
Showers and thunderstorms will move into the state this afternoon. It will clear out and be nice for most of the weekend, but it’s also going to be chilly in some areas, especially at night.
North Alabama
A few showers in the late afternoon, becoming more widespread in the evening. Mostly cloudy with a high of 76. Showers and storms continue tonight with a low of 50.
Central Alabama
Mostly cloudy with a few showers this afternoon. Showers and storms become more widespread in the evening. High of 76. Showers and a storm or two tonight with a low of 49.
South Alabama
Increasing clouds with a slight chance of a shower later this afternoon. High of 82. Showers and a few thunderstorms tonight with a low of 56.
Gulf Coast
Mostly cloudy with an isolated shower in the afternoon. Showers and storms become more widespread in the evening. High of 79. Mostly cloudy with a few showers and storms overnight. Low of 61.
