Two men accused of holding Alabama family at gunpoint, binding them and stealing money, property and cars

Two Alabama men have been arrested after sheriff’s deputies say they broke into a home, held the family at gunpoint and then stole money, property and their vehicles.
Madison County Sheriff’s Office deputies, along with Priceville police, arrested and charged the pair allegedly involved in a home invasion armed robbery in the Toney community.
On April 12, 2023, sheriff’s deputies responded to the 500 block of Bo Howard Road, where family members had been robbed and bound at gunpoint.
The two offenders were armed with weapons.
The offenders took large amounts of US currency, residential property as well as two vehicles from the residence.
Most of the property has since been recovered by investigators.
Investigators arrested and charged James Patrick Hardy, 39, and Christopher Wayne Malone, 37, with Robbery 1st and Burglary 1st, with their bonds totaling $60,000.
