Alabama Skies: Few remaining showers before a much nicer afternoon

We’ll have just a few more showers and thunderstorms this morning before we finally begin drying out. As the cold front moves through, clouds will move through, leaving behind clearing skies, windy conditions, and much cooler temperatures.

It’s looking like we’ll have a couple days of great weather before our next system arrives midweek.

North Alabama

A few showers and storms this morning. Gradually clearing later with a high of 67. Mostly clear tonight with a low of 44.

Central Alabama

Isolated showers and storms this morning, then mostly cloudy. Gradually clearing with a high of 69. Clear tonight with a low of 46.

South Alabama

Showers likely with a thunderstorm or two possible. Showers hang around until early afternoon before gradually clearing. High of 72. Clear with a low of 45 tonight.

Gulf Coast

Showers and thunderstorms through the early afternoon. Becoming mostly sunny with a high of 76. Mostly clear tonight with a low of 49.
