An 18-year-old Alabama man who is suspected of killing his father was arrested Saturday in Colorado, where police said he fled after the murder.
Enterprise police announced the arrest of Ethan Stuckey, 18, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, after police say he killed his father, Russell Stuckey, 42, of Enterprise, whose dead body was found on Friday night in Enterprise.
His body was found at a residence in the 300 Block of Daleville Avenue by the Enterprise Fire Department due to a gas leak call at this residence.
Enterprise police investigators said they believe his cause of death was due to at least one gunshot wound to the upper body.
Ethan Stuckey was arrested by members of the Colorado Springs Fugitive Task Force. He was taken into custody without incident, they reported.
Enterprise police will begin working on the extradition process to bring the suspect back to Enterprise.
