An Alabama man was killed early Wednesday when his truck left the roadway and struck a guardrail, officials said.

Oliver Andrew Brown, 43, of Warrior, Alabama, was killed in the single-vehicle crash early Wednesday, officials with the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office confirmed Thursday.

Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to the crash scene on Barber Boulevard where they found Brown unconscious and pronounced dead at the scene.
