Our next round of severe weather potential comes through this afternoon and tonight. Not everyone will see rain today, but chances are good everywhere will have some rain and storms over the next several days.

A Level 2 covers the northwestern corner of Alabama with this round of storms, including Florence. Areas in this threat level could have some severe storms with damaging winds, hail, and torrential rains. There could be an isolated tornado or two.

A Level one covers the northeastern corner of the state and stretches west, including Decatur, Huntsville, Cullman, and Hamilton. This area could have the same risk as the Level 2, but not as widespread.
