An Alabama man’s body has been pulled from a creek after police say he and another man led police on a car chase that ended in the creek.

Decatur police said the dead man is Michael Tremaine Forde-Clark, 18. Police said Forde-Clark has been missing since a police chase in Monday.

Forde-Clark was the second suspect who was sought after a police chase on Monday. Arrested shortly after the chase ended on Flint Creek was Ismael Tariq Smith, 21, of Huntsville.

Tariq is now charged with capital murder since investigators believe Forde-Clark died while Smith was committing another crime.

The Monday police chase started after police were alerted to a robbery and when they came in contact with the suspects, they ran from police and eventually lost control and landed in Flint Creek.
