Police say an Alabama man was found in possession of thousands of photographs depicting child pornography.

Terry Lee Yerby, 63, of Trussville, Alabama, was charged with possession of child pornography and held on bonds of $150,000, Trussville police investigators said Wednesday.

The arrest came after a tip was received through the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, police said.

The tip led police to obtain a search warrant and the seizure of several electronic devices. Forensic examination of those devices uncovered thousand of images depicting child pornography, detectives said.
