A suspected Alabama drug dealer was captured by police after his attempt to flee ended in a muddy field when his motorcycle got stuck in the mud.

Madison County Sheriff’s Office deputies said they attempted to stop a motorcyclist for allegedly committing numerous traffic violations. The suspect, later identified as Perry Curry Jr., fled deputies and led them on a brief chase.

The chase ended when Curry’s motorcycle left the roadway and drove into a field ultimately driving through deep mud and getting stuck.

Deputies say once he realized he could no longer elude deputies, Curry surrendered.

Curry was arrested and charged with attempting to flee and elude a law enforcement officer, unlawful distribution of a controlled substance, possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance and several traffic violations, deputies said.
