An Alabama man is accused of killing both of his parents Saturday during an argument, sheriff’s deputies say.

At approximately 1:30 p.m., Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the report of a shooting on McFarland Road in the unincorporated area of Spanish Fort, Alabama.

Upon arrival deputies located two victims inside of the residence with gunshot wounds. They were both pronounced deceased at the scene.

Based on preliminary information, investigators said they believe that Trinell Brown went to his parents’ residence and confronted them about an ongoing family dispute. During the argument, Brown shot and killed both of his parents.

After the shooting, Brown exited the residence and made a statement to witnesses that he killed his parents. Deputies responded quickly after being notified about the homicides and took Brown into custody.
