An Alabama man was killed early Friday morning when his vehicle collided head-on with a tractor trailer truck causing both vehicles to catch fire.

The driver, whose identity was not immediately been released was reportedly driving the wrong way on Interstate 22 West near Graysville, Alabama, at approximately 12:40 a.m., Jefferson County Coroner’s Office officials confirmed.

The deceased man was the lone occupant in the car.
