Two Alabama prison inmates — both in their 30s — were found dead in their cells on Thursday and Friday, state officials said.

Joshua Ledlow, 39, was found unresponsive Thursday inside his cell at the Limestone Correction Facility, Alabama Department of Corrections officials said.

Ledlow was serving a 15-year sentence for burglary.

On Friday, another inmate in the same facility was also found unresponsive and later pronounced dead.

Convicted child abuser Mohama Osman, 33, was found unresponsive. Prison officials said they attempted to resuscitate him and was pronounced dead.

Both deaths are being investigated by the Alabama Department of Corrections Law Enforcement Services.
