An Alabama man died after being involved in a crash in Marengo County on Saturday, state troopers reported.

Tyler T. Smith, 25, of Thomasville, Alabama, was critically injured when his 2005 Suzuki SV650 motorcycle collided head-on with a 2019 Can-Am Outlander XMR all-terrain vehicle (ATV) driven by Jalonte D. Dixon, 25, of Dixon Mills, Alabama, state troopers said.

The crash happened around 7:45 p.m. Saturday on Marengo County 6, about 8 miles north of Thomasville.

Smith and Dixon were both injured in the accident and were transported to University Hospital in Mobile.

Smith later died on Sunday. Smith was reportedly not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
