An Alabama man has been charged with murdering four people Wednesday night, shooting some, stabbing others, police said.

Daphne police told Mobile area media that four people were killed and that all four were from the same family.

Jared Tarant Smith-Bracy was arrested early Thursday morning and booked on four counts of capital murder.

The murders occurred in the Lake Forest area of Daphne.
