Alabama Skies: Warm, breezy, and a few showers today

Today is going to be another day that’s quite warm and windy. Some parts of the state will continue to experience winds of up to 25 miles per hour. There will be a chance of scattered showers and maybe even a few thunderstorms across the state. A week front may drop our temperatures a few degrees over the next couple of days, but we’ll be right back to above average temps again soon.

North Alabama

A few showers early, then mostly sunny with a high near 85. Wind gusts up to 25 miles per hour. Tonight, a few isolated showers around and a low of 52.

Central Alabama

A few showers before lunchtime, then mostly sunny with a high near 85. Showers return tonight with a low near 58.

South Alabama

A couple of isolated showers are possible. Mostly cloudy with a high near 83. Mostly cloudy tonight with a low near 67.

Gulf Coast

A few showers around this morning, then mostly cloudy and 82. Tonight, fog later with a low near 67.
