Alabama teen killed after car strikes trees, then overturns, state troopers say

An Alabama teen was killed Wednesday morning when the teen’s car struck several trees and flipped, state troopers said.

The 17-year-old victim was not immediately identified.

Troopers said the teen was driving a 2016 Toyota Corolla that left Dallas County Road 83 at approximately 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, struck several trees and then turned over.

The accident happened approximately 12 miles northeast of Selma. The teen was pronounced dead at the scene troopers said.
