A motorcyclist involved in a police chase was killed Tuesday after the motorcycle collided with a van.

The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office told WKRG-TV that the motorcyclist had died, but did not say why they were chasing the person on the motorcycle.

The crash happened on Padgett Switch Road close to Edgar Roberts Road.
