An Alabama hiker was found dead over the weekend, approximately two weeks after he was discovered missing.

Chad Garrie, 44, of Trinity, Alabama, was found dead Saturday morning in Bankhead, the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office reported.

Authorities said they do not believe foul play was involved in Garrie’s death.

The last time anyone had spoken with Garrie was on January 25. Searchers found his truck on February 2 at Indian Tomb Hollow in the Bankhead National Forest.
