Beard Equipment Company, Inc., a third-generation John Deere Golf and Sports Turf dealership serving customers in Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, and Mississippi, has finalized an agreement to acquire South Carolina-based Greenville Turf & Tractor, a John Deere Golf and Sports Turf dealer, along with their locations in Greenville, SC, Ridgeland, SC, Nashville, TN, Cincinnati, OH, and Nicholasville, KY, that reach customers in 11 states. The acquisition was completed on Jan. 20, 2023.

This acquisition also highlights the trust that John Deere has in Beard Equipment’s product support delivery.”

The new locations will also expand Beard Equipment’s product and parts inventories.

The combined territory of Golf and Sports Turf customers across 13 states makes Beard Equipment the largest independent John Deere Golf and Turf dealership in North America.
