An Alabama man died Tuesday from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident last week.

Coty S. Blackburn, 22, of Hazel Green, Alabama, was injured January 10 when his 1994 Honda CBR-600 motorcycle struck a 2010 Ford Edge driven by a Fayetteville woman, Alabama state troopers said.

Troopers said Blackburn was transported to Huntsville Hospital for treatment and died Tuesday at UAB Hospital.

The accident occurred on Highway 231 approximately 3 miles north of Hazel Green.
