Two cousins have been charged with killing two people whose bodies were found a few miles apart along a stretch of Interstate in Alabama.
Keondre Jazel McCall and Mance Quinnell McCall Jr., both 19, were arrested and charged with capital murder. Both men are from the Montgomery and Lowndes County area. They were arrested in Lowndes County.
They are accused of killing Justin Michael Whitfield, 23, and Destin Rashard Holley, 23, both from the Montgomery area as well.
Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Office deputies first responded early Sunday morning after a motorist called to report they believed they ran over someone in the roadway. Responding officers found the body, but said evidence found at the scene indicated the person may not have been killed by the collision.
Within an hour, deputies were called to the report of a dead body lying in the Foster community just a few miles away from the first body.
A car registered to one of the victims was found later in the day in the Hayneville area of Lowndes County.
