An Alabama man has been arrested and charged with sexually abusing three children.

Hueytown police said they arrested David Neal Beaty, 63, of Bessemer, Alabama, and charged him with first-degree rape, sex abuse of a child under the age of 12 and four counts of indecent exposure.

Police investigators say the investigation started earlier in December when they were told of a possible sex abuse that occurred between 2016 and 2018.

Beaty was arrested Wednesday afternoon and bonded out later that night after he posted a $114,000 bond.
