An Alabama man was arrested last week after a parking lot dispute allegedly led to punches flying at outside a Chick-fil-A restaurant.

Phillip Meredith, 43, was arrested after police said a woman approached them and said she was assaulted by a man at the Chick-fil-A restaurant on Airport Boulevard in Mobile at approximately 6:45 a.m. on Friday.

The victim said Meredith had parked so close to her car that she couldn’t get inside her car. As she attempted to get into her car she hit Meredith’s car door.

She said he then got out of his car, punched her car and then hit her in the head with his fist.

When she attempted to call for help, Meredith allegedly grabbed her phone and threw it away from her.
