An Alabama man was killed in a two-vehicle accident on Christmas Eve, state troopers reported.

Christopher D. Bell, 48, of Fort Payne, Alabama, was killed at approximately 7:20 p.m. Saturday, on Hustleville Road, approximately 4 miles north of Albertville, state troopers said.

Bell was driving a 1979 GMC van that collided head-on with a 2000 GMC pickup driven by Clayton L. Dunn, of Grant, Alabama, troopers said.

Bell was pronounced dead at the scene. Dun and a passenger in the pickup, Marie A. Bailey, 56, also of Grant, were injured and taken to a local hospital for treatment.
